Meet Casper
Casper, the friendly goat, was surrendered to Broome Animal Sanctuary on his way to the butcher. Every night Casper curls up and sleeps on Otis the Pig's back and they both seem to enjoy it!
Sanctuary Spotlight
Broome Animal Sanctuary
BAS is an animal sanctuary for unwanted farm animals whose lives are threatened. We raise awareness of factory farm atrocities while promoting a happier healthier and more humane way of life between humans, animals and the environment.

Why Sanctuaries
Most animals rescued from farms spent years treated as production units, not living creatures. A sanctuary is the first place they're allowed to just be — to have a name, make friends, be curious, and stop being afraid. Peanut thinks that's worth changing. We feed Peanut. Peanut feeds animal sanctuaries — so places like this one can keep doing what they do.

We're looking for sanctuaries to fund and spotlight — places that rescue and care for farmed animals. Pigs, cows, chickens, goats, sheep, turkeys, and their kin. If that's you, we'd love to introduce you to the herd.
